My former father- in-law Eddie Kawasaki was an Amazing and hard working man.He had a kind and generous heart and he will Always have a place in my heart. He loved NASCAR and anything pertaining to racing, but he loved his trucks the most Beautiful I have every seen or had the pleasure of going over the road in them.He will Always be a part of my life and his legacy will forever live on! You are deeply missed by me and all those who knew and loved you!

I remember Ed Sr, Because I went to school with Ed Jr. I saw Sr around the Moosic Raiders, and school activities. Everyone liked him, and he was a friendly kind of guy. Ed Jr. is also a nice guy. I remember I bumped his car once, and he totally let it go with just an apology. Both stand up guy's. Sorry for you loss, Ed Jr.

RIP Ed, you were one of the most generous people I've ever known. Thanks for all of the memories while we were racing in the Late 70s . Still have one of the Apple House pocket knives. Thanks for everything, you were the best car owner I've ever been associated with.Go 41.

We were blessed to have been working with Eddie and driving one of his trucks for 7 years. it was my sad honor to bring home the last load Apple House hauled. It sure was a family operation and he made everyone feel as one of his kids. He really did not hold a grudge but he would let your know you messed up. He sure did take care of a lot of the community and gave more than he could make at times. I am honor to have been one of Ed's drivers.

I got to know Ed over the past year as I visited my Mom daily at Mountain View. I couldn't pass by Ed without giving him a friendly "hello" and seeing his face light up with his smile and blue eyes. I'm surprised and saddened to hear of his passing only just a week after my mom. My sister and I always said what a sweet man he was. Our deepest sympathy to his family.
