I have just this evening come to learn of Dr. Boriosi's passing. I was a patient of Dr. Boriosi right up until his retirement. I also owned both of his books. Dr. Boriosi was such an honorable, kind, and insightful Doctor. He surely had a way of sharing his insight that helped all who were blessed to call him their Doctor. My most sincere and deep sympathy for his entire family.

im so sorry to hear he passed away:( Im going to miss him and he was one of my best doctors. He made it easier for me to be on D7 the first time and I was a mess and he helped me as best as he could and ill always remember him for that:) im doing much better now and my bipolar disorder is now in remission so I graduated counseling and just have my psych doctor Dr Astante at SCC and my case manager Dave Klein who is doing a really good job for me. I think Dr B knew that I kicked Rich out and I had to divorce him. He joined the Lakota Nation in SD and deserted me for them. IM with John Regan now and he is a good guy and would have benefited from Dr B too. John had the shock treatments done and has schizophrenia and PTSD. I help him with the PTSD as best as I can and I cook up a storm for him and do his sewing. He got Lucky:) I got Lucky:) Ill remember you guys and my mom and dad are going to miss Dr B too. My dad got worse with the dementia and got put into the nursing home. I visit him all the time. I got Daddy to listen to Justin Beiber, Skillex and Diplo. Daddy liked the song:) He's a Dolly Parton and John Wayne Superfan. they said hello:) take care.

My wife Ginny and I wish to express our sympathy to the Boriosi Family.
Guido and I spent a summer internship together in 1963, with 8 other professionals at Clark Summit State Hospital. We were close friends, personally and professional, had fun together, good times, many laughs. We married in 1964, moved to the Lehigh Valley and Guido married, remaining in the Scranton area to establish his Medical Practice.
We met infrequently, never close but when needed, he was there for me!
Rest In Peace, Guido!

Dr, Boriosi was my Dr. for 10 years or so before he became ill a few years ago. He was also a friend. All Drs, especially in his field should be as good and kind as he was. He will be greatly missed by many, many people. He always talked about his son Marc and his wife and how much he cared for them.
