Joe, please accept my condolences and prayers for your loss. I know it’s been a long time since our “gang” hung out in my parents back yard but it feels like yesterday. Your dad sounded like an awesome guy. I’m sure he will be deeply missed by you and your brothers and sisters. Be there for each other. Sending prayers.
Elyn Carabello. (Teddy’s sister)

My father was a beautiful person, a man's man and a loving caring Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather.
He is most known throughout Taylor, Scranton and Moosic, for his work as a contractor, master carpenter, plumber, electrician. He built 95 homes in Lackawanna region including his own and remodeled 10s of others, including his own. He built and performed custom cabinatry in his garage for many of the homes he built. Before Unions became popular, he performed his own plumbing and electrical wiring. He also was the architect of these homes that he sat with the buyers and designed every house to specific needs of the customer. Many of the homes he built are along Keyser Avenue in Taylor across from the Golf course.
He also built several million dollar homes in the region.
With 8 children, he still found time to be a loving husband, father and grandfather. He liked going fishing to Canada to the Saint Lawrence River with his sons and friends. He was a golfer and bowler in leagues in Taylor and to school in Taylor in the early 40s where he excelled in baseball, football and basketball. And it is where he meet his loving wife Helen Mokay.
