I met Gene when I moved back to the area in the late 80's & early 90's and started working at Lord Label. His gentle, sweet and calm demeaner played a big part in my readjustment to NEPA life. He was a very genuine person. He will be remembered by everyone who knew him.

Gene was my first "real" boss. He gave me a chance in the graphic arts industry, at Lord Label, when I had no experience at all. I can honestly say that he is one of the BEST men that I have ever met. I cried when I read his obituary in the newspaper. I wish that I had seen it in time to attend the viewing but I saw it too late. My sincere condolences to his entire family. You were all very lucky to have him as a part of your lives. This man could NEVER be forgotten by anyone who ever met him. I, personally, will remember his kindness always. Rest in Peace, Gene. Until we meet again.

We will miss Gene. He was a wonderful man whom we became friendly with instantly! Our hearts go out to his wonderful family who we never met but, heard such wonderful things about. Gene loved and adored his children and his two granddaughters . We will miss him him telling us about each of them and how proud he was of each of you.
We are so sorry!
