Obituary of Emily M. Smith

Emily M. Hurley Smith, 46, of Avoca, formerly of Taylor, died Wednesday at Geisinger Community Medical Center.  She is survived by her devoted husband, James and together they celebrate 21 years of marriage.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late William and Sandra D. Thomas Hurley. Emee was a graduate of Riverside High School Class of 1989. Her family was the focal point in her life and she will be dearly missed.

Also surviving is a daughter, Emily Ann, at home; her father-in-law and mother-in-law; Aunts, an uncle and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra L. Hurley on January 2, 1999.
