Obituary of Lucille Krenitsky

Lucille Tagliaterra Krenitsky, a life long resident of Old Forge, died Saturday evening at Moses Taylor Hospital.  Her beloved husband, and best friend Harrison, died November 29, 2009.

Born in Old Forge, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Lucy Brigido Tagliaterra.  Lucille was a graduate of Old Forge High School Class of 1965.  She worked as an executive assistant to the principal at Old Forge High School, until her retirement. Lucille was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Old Forge.  She also served as a committee chair for the Democratic Party for many years.  Throughout the years, she enjoyed playing cards with her card club friends, going to the casino, playing the daily number and was an excellent baker.  Her circle of friends and her ability to remember dates was extraordinary. She will be dearly missed.

Surviving are her care givers, Donald and Shirley Killino, Old Forge; a brother, Anthony, Fort Meyers, Fl; many devoted cousins and wonderful friends including her in-laws.
