Obituary of John M. Oliveri

John Oliveri, 25, of West Palm Beach, Florida, formerly of Avoca, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 24, 2018, where he has resided and worked for the past five years.

Born in Scranton, he is the son of Nazarro & Gail A. Gorzkowski Oliveri, Avoca.  John was a graduate of Pittston Area High School, and attended LCCC and McCann’s School of Business.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Nichole Norris, brother-in- law James and niece (god child) Olivia Norris. Aunts and Uncles, Nicholas and Joann Perrige, Scott and Ginny McAndrews, Judy Oliveri, Donald and Christie Oliveri, Elaine Holmes, Larry and Kathy Klein; Godmother, Rita Gunning. Cousins

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents; John M. and Geraldine Gorzkowski, and paternal grandparents; Nazarro and Virginia Oliveri; Uncle, John M. Gorzkowski. John was deeply loved by everyone whose life he touched. He will be sadly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday from Queen of the Apostles Church, 715 Hawthorn St. Avoca by the Rev. Phillip J. Sladicka.  Interment followed in SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Moosic.
