Obituary of Daniel M. Guzior

Daniel M. Guzior, 75, formerly of the Sibley section of Old Forge died Monday evening at the Riverside Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Taylor.

Born in Taylor, he was the son of the late Michael and Agnes Novakowski Guzior.  He attended St. Michael’s School, Old Forge, graduated from St. Ann’s and furthered his education at Johnson School.  Prior to his retirement, Dan worked at Mac Tac, Scranton. Dan was an avid hunter with a bow and arrow and a riffle.  He adored his two pit bulls, Dee Dee and Yankee.  He was a very generous person to all his friends and neighbors and he always wanted to help everyone.

Surviving is a sister, Trudie Krypel and husband, Michael, Taylor; several Aunts, an Uncle, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend Daniel’s Blessing service which will be on Friday at 6 PM in the Semian Funeral Home, by the Rev. John V. Polednak, V.E., pastor Nativity of Our Lord, Duryea.  Interment private in Holy Cross Cemetery, Old Forge.  Friends may call Friday 4 pm until 6 PM.
