Obituary of Marie Fooksman

Marie Rusnak Fooksman, 95, of Scranton, died Saturday September 23, 2017 at the Jewish Home. Her beloved husband, Ben, died in 1981.

Born in Taylor, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Borja Rusnak. Marie worked a waitress for many years. She was a parishioner of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, Taylor.

Surviving are a son, Archie L. Salerno, Columbia, MD; a grandson, Robert Salerno; a brother, Peter Rusnak, Taylor; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Rusnak, Sylvia Gishi and brothers, George, Andrew and John.

A graveside service will be Friday at 10:30 am in St. Mary's Byzantine Cemetery, Taylor by the Rev. Eduard Shestak.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St., Taylor.
