Obituary of Marge F. Sochovka
Marge F. Sochovka, 78,of Taylor, died Monday at Moses Taylor Hospital.
Born in Taylor, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Krisko Sochovka. Marge was a 1956 graduate of Taylor High School. Prior to her retirement, she worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare, in the Scranton Office. She was a parishioner of Divine Mercy Parish and St. John the Baptist Church, Taylor until its closing.
Surviving are two sisters; Joan Keppick, Taylor and Anne McCormack and husband, Joseph, Scranton; a niece, Joanne Corey and husband, William, Pittston; four nephews, Michael Keppick and wife, Gina, Old Forge; Joseph McCormack and wife, Stacey; Sean McCormack and wife, Connie, all of Clarks Summit; Brian McCormack and wife, Louise, Scranton; five great great nephews, Chris Corey, Dr. Rob and wife, Mary Corey, Jake, Brian Jr. and Sean Jr., McCormack; two great great nieces, Sara and Gracie McCormack.
Family and friends are invited to attend Marge's funeral, which will begin on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. from the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St., Taylor, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Divine Mercy Parish, 312 Davis St., Scranton, to be celebrated by the Rev. Francis L. Pauselli. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Taylor. Friends may call Friday 4-7 pm at the funeral home.
