Obituary of Frank J. Semanski

Frank J. Semanski, 89, of Taylor, died Friday at Moses Taylor Hospital. His devoted wife of 61 years is the former Eleanor Gregorczyk.

Born in Duryea, he was the son of the late Frank A. and Catherine Schultz Semanski. After high school, Frank served our country with the US Air Force. Until his retirement, Frank worked for McKinney Corporation, for many years. He also took great pride in making kielbasa. He was lifelong parishioner of St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church, Duryea. Frank enjoyed sitting on his porch and going to the casino.

Surviving are nieces and nephews.

A sister, Alberta Arch, preceded him in death.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Frank's funeral which will begin on Tuesday at 8:45 am from the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St, Taylor followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church, 200 Stephenson St., Duryea, to be celebrated by the Reverend Carmen Bolock, pastor. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery, Duryea. Friends may call Monday 5:00 to7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
