Obituary of Thomas R. Danilovitz

Thomas R. Danilovitz, 83, of the Greenwood section of Moosic, died Tuesday at Hospice of the Sacred Heart inpatient unit, Dunmore. His beloved wife, the former Joan Miller, died July 25, 1994.

 

Born in Moosic, he was the son of the late John and Helen Gutowski Danilovitz. After high school graduation, Tom faithfully served our country with the US Air Force during the Korean War. Throughout most of his life, he was a mobile home builder, and most recently worked for McGraw Vending. Tom was a parishioner of St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, Moosic, unit it's closing. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, horse racing, especially the Kentucky Derby, and spending time at Dunkin Donuts with friends to catch up on all the latest events. His family was the center of his life and he will be dearly missed.

 

 

Surviving are two daughters, Julie Hubbard and husband, Norm, Peoria, AZ and Michele Trently and husband, Joe, Moosic; four grandchildren, Brittany Eilber and companion Derek Sippel; Chelsea Hafner, Alec and Logan Hubbard; a great granddaughter, Everlee Sippel; a sister Dorothy Maleski, Avoca; nieces and nephews.

 

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel and Joseph.

 

Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday, May 12th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St., Taylor. Military honors by the US Air Force will be conducted at 7:00 PM. A private blessing service by the Rev. Francis L. Pauselli will be at St. Mary's Czestochowa Cemetery, Greenwood Section of Moosic.
