Obituary of Jacqueline Plisko

Jacqueline Suss Plisko, of Moosic, died Tuesday morning at Regional Hospital of Scranton surrounded by her loving children after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Born June 11, 1967 in Altoona, she was the daughter of the late John and Sally Walker Suss. Jackie was a graduate of Riverside High School, class of 1985. For the past sixteen years, she has been employed by the Riverside School District as a secretary in the Administration and business office. Her children were the center of her life and she devoted all her time and efforts for them, she was extremely proud of all their successes. Jackie enjoyed volunteering and was a strong supporter of the Riverside Vikings, always there to lend a helping hand and supporting the many school clubs and leading by example the true meaning of "school spirit". She cherished her many friendships and her close friends were like family to her. She was a parishioner of Divine Mercy Parish. Surviving are her four children; Jessica M., Melony S., and John P., all of Moosic and Joshua J. and wife, Patricia, Raleigh, NC; a sister, Tammy Ward and husband, Dave, S. Abington Twp.; Aunts, Uncles, Cousins. Family and friends are invited to attend Jackie's Mass of Christian Burial which will begin on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. from the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St. Taylor followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Divine Mercy Parish, 312 Davis St., Scranton celebrated by Rev. Francis L. Pauselli. Interment St. Mary Czestochowa Cemetery, Moosic. Family and friends may call Friday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
