Obituary of Susan A. Young

Susan A. Telipski Young, 61 of the Greenwood Section of Moosic, died Saturday at Mercy Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 40 years. George T. Young. Born in Scranton, she is the daughter of Benny Telipski, Greenwood section of Moosic and the late Helen Barcoski. She was a 1967 graduate of Riverside High School and a graduate of Hartford Airline School. For several years, Susan worked for AAA Motor Club as a travel agent and later for the Sranton/Wilkes-barre Airport, but her most rewarding career was being a wife and mother. She was a member of St. Luke�(TM)s Episcopal Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Greenwood Hose Company. Susan loved the ocean, traveling and visiting the New England States. She was a caring wife, mother, aunt and daughter, who had a deep love for her family and her dog Peanut Brittle. Also surviving is a daughter Kimberly E. Young, Greenwood Section of Moosic; a son, who is an E-6 currently serving with the US Coast Guard, Benjamin G. Young and wife, Sheree, Charleston, S.C. A brother Robert Telipski preceded her in death. Friends may call Wednesday 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St. Taylor. A blessing service will take place at 7:00 p.m. by the Rev. Peter D�(TM)Angio, St. Luke�(TM)s�(TM) Episcopal Church.
