Obituary of Joan Dructor

Joan Dructor, 84, of Moosic, died Saturday afternoon at her home. Her husband Paul died in 1977. Born in Perth, Australia, Joan was one of eight children and came to the United States in 1945. Prior to retirement, she worked for the Taylor Public Library and the Lackawanna County Court House. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed working in her garden and playing pinochle every other Thursday evening with her dear friends. Surviving are two sons, Anthony P. and wife, Cheryl, Hollywood, Fl; Joseph M. and wife, Cerita, Moosic; a daughter Kimberley Loftus and husband, Edward, Moosic; eight grandchildren, Paul, James, Wendy, Denise, Cary, Sandra, Megan and Michael; nine great grandchildren; several brothers and sisters, who reside in Australia. The family would like to thank all of Joan�(TM)s doctors and care givers for their compassion and understanding they gave to their mother throughout her illness.
