Obituary of Edmund Rybak

Edmund "Monty" Rybak, 87, of Taylor, died Saturday in the inpatient unit of Hospice Community Care, Wilkes-Barre. He is survived by his wife the former Rose Kachinsky. They recently celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary. Born in Taylor, he was the son of the late John and Sophie Cisiecki Rybak and was a 1942 graduate of Taylor High School. Monty was a WWII Army Veteran and worked for Standard Iron Works for many years. He was a parishioner of Divine Mercy Parish. Also surviving are three daughters, Debra Skesavage and husband, Scott, West Pittston; Carol Bufalino and husband, Edward, Exeter; Joan Foersch, West Wyoming; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren; a sister Jean Raynak, S. Plainfiled, NJ. A brother Frank preceded him in death. The funeral will be Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. from the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St., Taylor followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Divine Mercy Parish, 312 Davis St., by the Rev.
