Obituary of Dolores A. Helcoski

Dolores A. Gnall Helcoski, of Moosic, died Friday at Mercy Hospital. Her devoted and faithful husband, Theodore S., survives her. They celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary May 26. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late George and Anna Kolesa Gnall and was a 1944 graduate of West Scranton High School. Dolores worked for Scranton Electrical Company as a financial clerk and retired form Tobyhanna Army Depot, where she was a cost analyst. She was a parishioner of Divine Mercy Parish and a former member of St. Mary Czestochowa Church, Greenwood. Her and her husband, Ted loved to travel and often spoke of their trips to France, Italy, Monaco, Aruba, Las Vegas and Atlantic City. Also surviving is a sister Arlene Gnall, Moosic; a brother George Gnall and wife, Betty, Marietta, Ga; Nieces and Nephews. A brother Joseph preceded her in death. The funeral will be Tuesday at 9:30 am. from the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St., Taylor followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Divine Mercy Parish, 312 Davis St., by the Reverend Francis Pauselli, pastor. Interment St. Mary's Czestochowa Cemetery, Greenwood section of Moosic. Friends may call Monday 5-8 pm.
