Obituary of Dorothy Bubernak Jadick

Dorothy Bubernak Jadick, formally of Old Forge, died Wednesday at Thornwald UCC Home, Carlisle. Her beloved husband Peter died July 13, 1983. Born in Taylor, she was the daughter of the late John and Anastasia Bidnyk Bubernak, Prior to her retirement; Dorothy worked as a seamstress for the former Marbeth Fashions, Old Forge. She was a life long, faithful and devoted parishioner of St. Michaels Orthodox Church, Old Forge and was always there to lend a helping hand. Dora loved to sew and cook for her family and friends. Throughout her life, she had great love and committment for her husband, daughter, granddaughter, her ten brothers and their families. Surviving is a daughter Sandra Jadick Ensslen and, husband Robert, Mechanicsburg; a granddaughter, Anysia Jadick Ensslen, a doctorial student, Lexington, KY; five brothers, Steve, Myrtle Beach, N.C.; Harry, Eynon, Joseph, Los Alamos, New Mexico; Paul, Alexandria, Va; and Peter, Thornhurst; and many Nieces and Nephews. Five brothers, Paul (first born), Mike, Walter, Bill, Sam and preceded her in death. The funeral will be Friday at 9:15 from the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St., Taylor followed by services at 10 am in St. Michael's Orthodox Church, 512 Summer St., Old Forge, by the Rev. John Soucek and the Rev. Stephen Vernak, Christ the Savior Church. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call Thursday 7-9.
