Obituary of Janet Pukita Petrowsky

Janet Pukita Petrowsky, of Clarks Summit, formerly of Taylor died Tuesday at home. She is survived by her husband Myron. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Harry G. and Natalia Sprovkin Pukita and was a 1962 graduate of Scranton Technical High. For several years, Janet worked for Oak Inc. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, loved her cats and collected cat figurines. Also surviving are two daughters, Tamara Scarfo, and husband, Pat, Clarks Summit; Nicole Soulia, Scranton; ten grandchildren; three brothers, Harold, Hilliard, Oh; Ken and wife, Elaine; Donald all of Scranton; Nieces and Nephews. Two brothers, Leonard and John and a sister Eleanor Stavisky preceded her in death. Private services will be held from the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St., Taylor.
