Obituary of Anna Mae Kalinich
Anna Mae Kalinich, 78, of Taylor, died Sunday evening shortly after arrival at Moses Taylor Hospital. She is survived by her devoted husband John and had been married for 58 years. Born on September 9, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Mary Churnock Ashman and was a 1948 graduate of Taylor High School. For many years, Anna Mae worked for the former Old Forge Blouse and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. She was a life long and faithful parishioner of St.George�(TM)s Orthodox Church, Taylor, the A.C.R.Y., altar society and church choir. Anna Mae loved her church and had a great devotion to Our Lord. Also surviving is a son, John S. and wife, Ruth, Hudson, Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Brock and Ashley Kalinich, Amanda Keifer and Britt Lock; four great grandchildren; an aunt, Sue Killino, Old Forge; a brother-in-law George Kalinich, Stratford, Ct; Cousins, Nieces and Nephews The funeral will be Friday at 8:45 a.m. from the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St., Taylor, followed by Divine Liturgy at 9:30 am. In St. George�(TM)s Orthodox Church, 743 S. Keyser Ave., to be celebrated by the Very Rev. Protopresbyter Mark Leasure, pastor. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
