Obituary of Thoum Sophabmyxay

Thoum Sophabmyxay, 80, of Taylor, died Tuesday evening at Mercy Hospice. Born in Laos on December 22, 1929, she came to the United States in 1986. Surviving is a daughter, Saengngern Keoonela, with whom she resided; three sons, Sengkham Sphamixay, Taylor, Sengxiane Sophabmyxay, Scranton and Saengthong Sophabmyxay, France; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A Buddhist ritual ceremony will be held Friday at 12 noon in the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union Street, Taylor. Cremation will follow at Maple Hill Crematory, Wilkes-Barre.
