Obituary of Agnes Buranich

Agnes Buranich, 85, of Ransom Township, died Sunday morning at Abington Manor. Her husband John died April 24, 1994 and they had been married for fifty-two years. Born on January 17, 1925 in Philadelphia, she was daughter of the late Frank and Catherine Minso Terlecki. For over 60 years, she and her late husband owned Buranich�(TM)s Farm, Ransom Township and contracted a School Bus for Abington Heights School District. Agnes was a faithful and devoted parishioner of St. Michael�(TM)s Orthodox Church, Old Forge, sang in the church choir and was a former member of the Ladies Annunciation Club. Her faith helped her to overcome many trials and tribulations. She was always there to lend a helping hand, always had a joke to tell to put a smile on someone�(TM)s face and will be dearly missed by her family and devoted friend Gaza Mika. Surviving are a son John and wife, Joan, Clarks Summit; a daughter Eleanor Krenitsky and husband, Harrison, Poland, Ohio; five grandchildren; Donna Buranich Milo, Ransom Township; John Buranich III and wife, Evone, Newton; Michael Buranich, Clarks Summit; Faith Krenitsky, Poland, Ohio and Gabriel Krenitsky, New York; six great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Brother�(TM)s Joe Terlecki, Eugene Terlecki and a sister Clare Passariello preceded her in death. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. from the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St., Taylor followed by services at 12:15 p.m. in St. Michael�(TM)s Orthodox Church, 512 Summer St., Old Forge, to be celebrated by the Rev. John Soucek, rector. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery, Old Forge. Friends may call Tuesday 5-8.
