Obituary of James Kavulich

James Kavulich, 56, of Taylor, died Sunday morning at home. Born in Taylor, he was son of the late Joseph F. and Verna Chesmar Kavulich and was 1971 graduate of Riverside High School. For over 17 years, he worked for Riverside High School. Jim was a lifelong parishioner of St. John the Baptist Church, Taylor and a parishioner of Divine Mercy Parish. He was a avid bowler and bowled with St. Paul's Bowling league. Surviving are two sisters; Rose Marie Coccia and husband, Patrick, Old Forge; Carol Thomas and husband James, Taylor; two brothers, Joseph Jr., Scranton; and Thomas and wife, Terry, Moosic; Uncles, Nieces, Nephew, great nieces and a great nephew. The funeral will be Wednesday at 12:30pm from the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St. Taylor with Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. in Divine Mercy Parish, 312 Davis St., to be celebrated by the Rev. Francis Pauselli, pastor. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Taylor. Friends may call Wednesday 11 am till 12:30 pm.
