Obituary of Matthew Barber

Matthew Barber, 41, of Taylor, died Monday at home. Born in Scranton, he was son of the late Lloyd R. Sr. and Doris Lewis Barber and was 1987 graduate of Abington Heights. He worked for Allied Services and the former Acme Market, Chinchilla. Matthew was a life long member of United Baptist Church, Scranton. All of his life, he was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. Surviving are three brothers; Lloyd R. Sr and Douglas both of Taylor; Jeff, Scranton; two sisters, Doris Beavers, Mt Cobb and Susan Maikranz and husband, Fred Taylor, who were his caregivers; Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. A brother Ronald preceded him in death. The funeral will be Friday at 11 am in the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St., Taylor, with services by the Reverend Earl Cassel.
