Obituary of Josephine Morris

Josephine Komperda Morris, 91 of Kearny, NJ, died Tuesday morning at Clara Maass Continuing Care Center, Kearny, NJ. Her husband Stanley died January 23, 1992. Born and educated in Old Forge, she was daughter of the late Andrew and Katherine Nizioick Komperda. All of her life was dedicated to taking care of her family, who was the center of her life. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Newark, NJ. Surviving are a grandson Brian Morris, Kearny, NJ; a great granddaughter, Natalie; two sisters, Loretta Kulpak and Celia Komperda both of Old Forge; many nieces and nephews. A sister Agnes Pawlikowski and two brothers John and Thomas preceded her in death. A blessing service will be held on Friday at 10 am in the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St., Taylor, by the Reverend Joseph J. Brozena. Friends may call Friday 8:30 am till time of service.
