Obituary of Ann Evanish Peskin

Ann E. Peskin, a resident of Elan Gardens, Clarks Summit, died at Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton. Born in Taylor, daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth Michaylo Evanish, she was a graduate of the Warren Institute, Fairfield, CT. Ann resided in Massachusetts for many years where she was employed as an executive secretary at Digital Corp. in Maynard, MA. She was extremely conscientious in her work and represented Digital Corp. at many national and international conferences. Ann was a fun-loving, fiercely independent individual who loved to travel and attend cultural events. She enjoyed tennis, dancing, and interior design. She was proud to share in the achievements of her many nieces and nephews. She is survived by two brothers, Andrew Evanish, Taylor, and Theodore F. Evanish and wife, Patricia, Jermyn, a brother-in-law, Rev. Deacon Michael Kozar, Dickson City, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Kozar and Mary Moskwa, and five brothers, Michael, George, John, and infants William and Francis. A private funeral will be Monday from the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union Street, Taylor. Interment, Abington Hills Cemetery, South Abington Township.
