Obituary of Rose M. Kryzanowski

Rose M. Kryzanowski, 89, formally of Lake Ariel, and a resident of Allied Skilled Nursing Center, for the past six years, died Saturday evening at Hospice Community Care, Dunmore. Her husband Charles died on January 27, 2004. Born in Scranton on October 3, 1920, she was daughter of the late Isadore and Eva Artimovitch Menlicavage. Early in life, she worked for the former Lackawanna Pants and then her and her late husband, moved to St. Louis Missouri, and she was the supervisor of housekeeping at St. John�s Mercy Hospital. After their retirement, they settled in Lake Ariel. She was a former member of St. Vladimir�s Ukrainian Catholic Church, West Scranton.. Throughout her life, Rose had a passion for cooking and she learned many of these recipes from helping the women at the many church picnics. She was a loving and giving aunt, who will be greatly missed. Surviving are nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, great great nephews, and her extended family She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Bernardo and husband Paschal; Therese Seechock and husband Michael. Graveside services will be Friday at 11 am in the chapel at St. Vladimir�s Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Kane Street, to be celebrated by the Rev. Paul Wolensky, pastor.
