Obituary of Harrison Krenitsky

Harrison “Harry” Krenitsky, of Old Forge died upon arrival at Moses Taylor Hospital. He is survived his wife the former Lucille Tagliaterra. They celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary September 20th. Born and educated in Old Forge, he was son of the late Michael and Helen Tyrpak Krenitsky. For over thirty-four years, he worked for the former Affiliated Foods and retired from Schott Optical, Duryea. He was a parishioner of St. Michael�(TM)s Orthodox Church, Old Forge. Harry was a social member of St. George�(TM)s Social Club, Taylor, the teamsters local 229 and a former member of the R&LCivic Club. Also surviving is a sister Martha Matechak and husband, Ned, Old Forge; two brothers, Michael and wife, Mary Ann, Taylor; the Very Reverend Elias, Old Forge; a niece Cynthia Pietrowski and husband Jonathan, Old Forge; a great niece Anna; Aunts, Uncle, Cousins. The funeral will be Thursday at 8:45 a.m. from the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St., Taylor, followed by services at 9:30 am in St. Michael�(TM)s Orthodox, 512 Summer St., Old Forge, to be celebrated by the Rev. John Soucek, pastor. Interment is in the parish cemetery, Old Forge. Friends may call Wednesday 5:00 p.m until 9:00 p.m. Parastas services will be at 8:30pm.
