Obituary of Regina Karp Wozniak

Regina Karp Wozniak October 17, 2009 Photo Regina Karp Wozniak, of Taylor, died Saturday morning at home. Her husband John Wozniak died June 17, 2000. Born on November 22, 1921 in Avoca, she was daughter of the late Felix and Sophia Gregory Karp. Prior to her retirement, she worked for the former Vermont Sports Ware, Taylor and for the former Sauquoit Silk Mill. Regina loved to garden and take care of her home. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister and aunt, who will be greatly missed. Her son would like to thank Dr. Mark Lyons and Dr. Scott Rieder for their care, concern and compassion they extended to his mother over the years. Surviving is a son Mark, Taylor; Nieces and Nephews She was preceded in death by three brothers, Stanley, Edward and Henry Karp; and two sisters, Lottie Drouse and Nellie Cichon. The funeral will be Tuesday at 9:30 am from the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St., Taylor with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in the Church of St. Joseph, to be celebrated by the Rev. Francis Pauselli, pastor. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Old Forge. Friends may call Monday 5-8.
