Obituary of Allen J. Sluck

Allen J. Sluck of Taylor, died Tuesday, August 25th, at Community Medical Center in Scranton. Born and educated in Taylor, he was the son of Ann Yurtin Sluck and the late Michael Sluck, Sr. He was a member of St. George's Orthodox Church in Taylor as well as its Social Club. Prior to his illness, he was employed as a greens keeper at the Pine Hills Golf Course in Taylor. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. Also surviving is a brother, Michael Jr. and his wife, Donna, and their two children, Daniel of Dalton, and Steven of Philadelphia.; aunts, uncles, and cousin. The funeral will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. from the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St., Taylor, with funeral services at 11:00 a.m. in St. George's Orthodox Church, Taylor, by the Very Rev.
