Margarete G. Scott, 65, of Scranton, PA, died Saturday, July 6th at her home. She is survived by her husband, Randolph Scott, and together they celebrated 44 years of marriage.
Born in Aerzen, Germany, she is one of eight children born to the late Gustav and Matilda Hundertmart Eisenhauer. She came to the U.S. in 1985 and began her life here with her husband Randolph. Together they had two sons, whom she loved dearly. She was a housewife, doing everything she could to make sure her family was taken care of. Margarete was well loved, extremely caring, and always there to offer a helping hand to those who needed it.
In addition to her husband Randolph, Margarete is survived by her two sons, Michael Scott of Jermyn, and Daniel Scott and wife, Teresa, of East Stroudsburg; three grandchildren, Mychael, Maya, and Neveah; two brothers, Gustav Eisenhauer and wife, Petra, of Germany and Eric Eisenhauer and wife, Helka, Germany; and five sisters, Renate Bennett, Vera Shack, Illona Eisenhauer, Korala Eisenhauer, and Elke Soltysiak.
Funeral services were privately held at Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St. Taylor.
